About

Susanna Haynes is a woman after God’s own heart. She is the Founder and CEO of Susanna Haynes Enterprises (SHE), INC – a 501 (c)(3) non-profit geared toward empowering, elevating, and enriching the lives of the next generation of leaders.

Susanna was born one of four siblings on September 5, 1979 in Augusta, GA to the parents of Barbara Farmer and Rev. Willie C. Haynes, Sr. – the late pastor and founder of New Vision Baptist Church in Vidalia, Georgia. She graduated from Vidalia High School in 1998 and went on to attend East Georgia College in Swainsboro where she began her dream of obtaining her Bachelor of Arts degree in Broadcast Journalism. She trained at CNN, interned at WSB-TV in Atlanta and worked formerly as a television reporter for WFXL in Albany, Georgia and WNEG in Toccoa, Georgia.

Ms. Haynes also holds a Master’s degree in Divinity from Emory University’s Candler School of Theology and serves as a licensed and ordained elder in the Full Gospel Baptist Fellowship International under her pastor, the late Bishop James H. Morton, Sr. She has 14 years of exceptional pastoral and ecclesiastical leadership experience.

In 2015, Susanna returned home to care for her ailing father who succumbed to his battle with pancreatic cancer in 2016 and went home to be with the Lord. She served as the associate minister in his church during this time and volunteered as a clinical chaplain at Meadows Regional Medical Center in Vidalia.

The following year, Susanna was hired by the Georgia Department of Corrections where she served as chaplain for two years, attending to the spiritual and emotional needs of incarcerated women, while continuing to serve faithfully in her father’s ministry.

She later commissioned as an officer in the Air Force in 2019 and has received numerous awards for her superior leadership and outstanding job performance.

One of today’s most thought provoking, intellectual, and unforgettable leaders, Susanna was honored by the invitation to deliver the commencement address at Pathway Christian School in Atlanta – a highlight in her speaking career.

An immensely popular and highly sought-after preacher and motivational speaker, she is a gifted communicator who possesses an innate ability to convey her messages in a practical, plain, and powerful manner. She has spoken to audiences across the world and even served as a missionary in South Korea for three years.

Susanna has dedicated her life to serving as an ambassador for Christ, giving back to her community, and proudly serving her country.

She serves currently on active duty as a chaplain in the United States Air Force, holds the rank of captain, and lives in Fairfield, California near Travis Air Force Base where she is now stationed.
